Couples spend time in discussion in a quiet, reflective atmosphere.

Catholic Engaged Encounter is a marriage preparation program available to couples being married in the Catholic Church. If you are planning marriage, please ask your priest about this exciting and dynamic program.

Presentations start on Friday evening and end on Sunday afternoon. Weekends are usually held at Christ the King Retreat Center.

Heavenly Father,    We invite you to our wedding and this is an invitation like no other. We ask that you are not only present for our wedding but invite you to stay for our marriage. Each day of our marriage we will be in union with you as we are in union with each other. We pray that you show us the path and we will follow. Amen     Jamie & Johnathan

All discussions during the weekend will be between couples where you will explore your relationship by answering probing questions about your views on family, finance, customs, children... the list is too long to be covered here.  At the conclusion you will have discussed many of the topics that you will eventually address during your beginning years of marriage... and there is no requirement for you to speak before the group, other than a quick introduction session. This is a one-on-one program between couples.
